Celebrating nine years now as the Huntington Beach High School 's Auditorium Technician, Joe Batte concedes that of all the productions he works on during the year, one of his favorites is the Miss Huntington Beach Scholarship Pageant. Additionally, Mr. Batte works as the Technical Director for the Academy of Performing Arts , teaches Theater Technology at Coastline ROP and finds time to work with UV Irvine, as a Stage Technician.
Joe is also the one who must entice a knowledgeable crew to work on all the productions. Funny, Joe doesn't have a problem getting “male” auditorium staff to work on the Pageant!)
