serving numerous groups and causes, including the Girl Scouts of America, Boys Scouts of America, the Hawaiian Civic Club (founding member), and of course, the Sand Dollars. She's been the Recording Secretary, among many other committee roles since 1984 which included overseeing the Judges for the Pageant. In 1994, Jackie assumed the title of Executive Director until 2000, where the position became a shared responsibility

Pam has been involved with the Miss HB Pageant for “many years than I know.” Actually, Pam has held various positions within the Sand Dollars and for Miss HB.
She was Executive Director before becoming the Stage Director, and has held that spot for the past 10 years. She has lived in Huntington Beach since 1966 and is a graduate of Huntington Beach High School – The home of the Miss Huntington Beach Scholarship Pageant. Pam was President of “California Women in Chambers of Commerce” 1995.
“I believe in scholarships, and this is a good way to display that type of community affection,” said Pam.
Among her duties creating the appearance of “Miss Huntington Beach Scholarship Pageant,” Pam is active in her kids' athletic activities.
She is the one who combines all the elements of producing such a high-profile event into a memorable and successful Pageant, one that always leaves a lasting, positive impression for the community to cherish, at least until the next year!
